Overview

I oversee the financial management of the Univerity's research grants and contracts portfolio across the full project life-cycle – from inception to impact. My team and I ensure local delivery of financial support to academics from horizon scanning through research development, bidding and contracting, research project management and delivery.

I provide joint strategic, policy and planning support and deliver a ‘shared support service’ 23 Directorates

Career

I joined the University at the beginning of 2005 and have worked within Research Finance for the entirety of my time here.  Prior to working at the University I worked for 15 years with a company providing Pension and Insurance solutions.
