Overview
Vicky is a research development manager within the BioEnvironment Cluster. She is the University’s BBSRC Funder Lead which includes providing secretariat support to the BBSRC Strategy Group and strategic insight for BBSRC related applications and activities. Vicky also provides broader high-level research development and management support and advice to Biosciences-Exeter based academics and prospective fellowship candidates which includes identifying funding opportunities and coordinating bid development. Vicky also helps to support the University’s GCRF activities.
Vicky joined the University in 2017 following almost 11 years at BBSRC where she held a number of national and international strategy and policy roles as well as peer review management activities. Her research experience extends to 10 years of active Post-Doctoral research including a Personal Fellowship from the British Heart Foundation.
