Evidence for climate change

Climate change is caused by both human activities and natural changes. How do we know? In this session, we will examine some of the evidence used to tell us about past climates; from fossil trees to long term measurements of temperature change.

How can human societies tackle climate change?

Climate change is a complex political issue because it involves human societies making difficult choices about how to change the way we live to deal with its causes and impacts. What do we need to consider in making such choices and what would the consequences be? This session will explore some of the conflicts that emerge when trying to decide how to tackle climate change on a global scale
