Formed in September 2010, the Strategic Planning and Change teams were brought together to focus on the things that matter most to the University - that our strategies, intelligence and data give a clear steer for where to invest in change, and in turn that these changes will help improve our performance. Combining Strategic Planning with Change teams is an innovation that other universities are now starting to follow.

We work with staff and stakeholders to develop the strategic plan, ensuring that we help reach and surpass our goals and mitigate risks along the way.

We work with colleagues from across the University to help them deliver complex, significant changes, from changing working practices and organisational development, to implementing innovative business systems.

Together we use performance monitoring tools to keep understand performance across the key themes of research, student experience and sustainability.
