Elaine Cordy

Elaine has made an exceptional contribution as Head of Registry Services and through her leadership and management of the learning spaces agenda. Elaine has ensured the delivery of arguably the most important activities for the University: student registration, the teaching timetable, summer and winter examinations, student records, graduations, UKBA compliance and the HESA and ITT returns that determine league table position and funding.

Elaine shows great commitment and determination in her work and is professional and positive at all times.

Working with EDS, Elaine has been central to the vision and delivery of numerous learning space improvements including the new Amory Study Centre and Moot Room Lecture, Streatham Court and Xfi Henderson, Washington Singer, Harrison teaching rooms, St Luke’s North Cloisters and Newman Theatres.

In nominating her for this award Hugh MaCann has said “Elaine fulfils the role of the intelligent client extremely well and as such the various projects have a clear direction from the outset which is maintained through to completion.”
