Outstanding Customer Service
The Outstanding Customer Service Award nominees all looked for and take customer feedback seriously and have used this information to continually improve what they do - this is simply good practice of course, but what is special about our finalists tonight is that they all also place relationships at the heart of the service they provide.
From Campus Services, the Estate Development Services Mitigation Team. Mahesh Shah, Amanda Hicks and Steve Jones have delivered outstanding customer services enabling the delivery of £300M of construction works on all three campuses. Keeping disruption to the infrastructure to minimum and allowing services to be delivered successfully was this team’s goal. This meant dealing with parking, traffic flow, roadwork, health and safety and of course the numerous contractors on the campuses. It is far from a 9 to 5, five day a week activity and requires team work and engagement of a high order.
