Higher Education Role Analysis (HERA)
In 2006 the University implemented a Framework Agreement for salaries based on the HERA job evaluation system. HERA ensures equal pay for work of equal value by measuring all roles by a single, consistent methodology. The scoring is evaluated through a HERA job evaluation form, which is completed by the College for new posts or by the role holder for staff wishing to request a re-grade of their current role.
