Community Challenge opportunities
What volunteering opportunities are there?
Community Challenges could include:
- Organising a party, outing or event for a community group
- Clearing up community allotments/gardens or working with environmental charities on a range of events
- Decorating community centres, hostels, offices and other community based premises
- Working in schools on a range of one-off projects.
Many community organisations have very limited resources. Community Challenges are therefore much needed and appreciated. Community organisations cannot always put much time into helping develop and manage the Challenge. This is where the project management team comes in. It will work closely with a named person in the partner organisation to plan, organise and carry out the Community Challenge.
