About this course:

The aim of this course is to share and discuss the key principles of effective data visualisation and to inspire you to start to tell much better stories with your data.

You will explore the importance of storytelling through graph and table design.

PLEASE NOTE CHANGE TO LENGTH OF COURSE: All courses (less 18th April and 2 May) will now run for 6 hours.

The course is being extended and therefore all new dates will now reflect this.

The two dates which have been advertised for some time will remain as originally advertised - 3 hours.

Learning outcomes:

As a result of attending this course, you will be able to:.

- Explain some key psychological ideas which help us to present data effectively.

- Utilise the fundamental principles of good data visualisation.

- Create tables of data which communicate your story effectively.

- Select the right type of graph for presenting your data.

- Create graphs which communicate your story effectively.

Who should attend this course:

This workshop is aimed at anyone whose role involves presenting data through any reporting platform.
