About this course:

The University induction provides an overview of the University, its strategic direction, its governance structure and key aspects of working here.

It is not intended to be an exhaustive overview but sufficient information for colleagues new to the University to orientate themselves.

At the event colleagues will meet a member of VCEG and have a chance to network over refreshments after the event.

Learning outcomes:

As a result of attending this course, you will:.

- Understand the University's mission, vision and values.

- Know about the history of the University and how the University works today.

- Understand how key services support the University's mission and their role.

- Have met other new colleagues and had a chance to talk to colleagues in key services.

Who should attend this course:

This event is mandatory and colleagues are advised to attend in their first three months.
