About this course:

SITS is the University Student Records System.

Using some of the key student records screen as a guide, this course covers basic navigation within the system, as well as cover some more advanced functions, allowing you to use the system and retrieve data more effectively.

Learning outcomes:

As a result of attending this course, you will be able to:.

- Navigate amongst screens/records within SITS.

- Use its key functions (retrieve, detail, clear screen, etc.).

- Perform more complex searches using wildcards to reduce the number of records retrieved.

- Use some of its advanced functions and export data into a spread sheet.

- Produce reports.

Who should attend this course:

This course is only available to those staff who require SITS access as part of their job role.

This session is mandatory for staff requesting SITS access.

This course is preparatory to a number of other SITS training sessions that are aimed at education administrators within the Colleges.
