SITS: Exam/Award Board (progression and awarding)

About this course:

This course covers the tasks involved up to the assessment, progression and award committees (APACs) for all students, as well as the tasks that take place afterwards.

Learning outcomes:

As a result of attending this course, you will be able to:.

- Understand student module results records.

- Determine what the progression decision is for a non-finalist or what award a student is eligible for, as well as how to reflect this on the student record.

- Award/progress students and how to deal with records for those who cannot be awarded/progress.

- Produce reports for the APAC.

- Modify student results and generate/cancel reassessment records.

Who should attend this course:

This course is only available to those staff who require SITS access as part of their job role.

This course is meant for education administrators that have some prior experience with the process, as more of a refresher.

If you are new to progression and awarding processes, it is recommended that you attend 2 separate sessions: 1- SITS: Exam/Award Board (progression only).

2- SITS: Exam/Award Board (awarding only).
