About this course:

This course covers the tasks involved up to the assessment, progression and award committees (APACs) for finalist students, as well as the tasks that take place afterwards.

Learning outcomes:

As a result of attending this course, you will be able to:.

- Understand student module results records.

- Determine what award the student is eligible for and how to reflect this on the student record.

- Award students and deal with those who are not eligible for an award.

- Produce reports for the APAC.

- Modify student results and generate/cancel reassessment records.

Who should attend this course:

This course is only available to those staff who require SITS access as part of their job role.

This course is for education administrators who are involved in examination boards (for UG and PGT students) and who are new to the process.

This session is the 2nd part of a 2-part course, with part 1 being SITS: Exam/Award Board (progression only).

Please note that progression processes are not covered in this session as those processes are covered in SITS: Exam/Award Board (progression only) or in SITS: Exam/Award Board (awarding and progression).
