About this course:

This course covers the tasks involved leading up to the assessment, progression and award committees (APACs) that take place in the reassessment exam period for non-finalist students, as well as the tasks that take place afterwards.

Learning outcomes:

As a result of attending this course, you will be able to:.

- Enter reassessment component marks, calculate module results and understand module results records.

- Determine student progression decisions and how to reflect them on the student record.

- Identify and deal with students who have non-standard progression decisions.

- Produce reports for the APAC.

- Modify student results and cancel reassessment records.

Who should attend this course:

This course is only available to those staff who require SITS access as part of their job role.

This course is for College education administrators who are involved in examination boards (for UG and PGT students) and who are new to the process.

This session is the first part of a 2-part course, part 2 being SITS: Reassessment exam board processes for finalists (awarding).

Please note that awarding processes are not covered in this session as those processes are covered in SITS: Reassessment exam board processes for finalists (awarding).
