About this course:

The aim of this session is to illustrate why public engagement is important for research careers.

We will look at some case studies of successful public engagement from across the University whilst also giving you the chance to think about your own public engagement activities.

This session is a must for those interested in improving how they interact with non-academics.

Learning outcomes:

As a result of attending this course, you will be able to:.

- Articulate a variety of different Public Engagement activities.

- Understand why you would want to get involved with Public Engagement.

- Continue your thinking about your own approach to Public Engagement.

This course is recommended for Research Staff in Cornwall, all disciplines.
