About this course:

Your research strategy should be inclusive, supportive and ambitious.

Moreover it should recognise and respond to the different challenges and opportunities in your research environment.

By attending this course we will aim to boost the quality, scope and capacity of your research activities, specifically focusing on the enhancement of your strategic abilities and how you work with your colleagues.

We will discuss a range of activities that cover both disciplines and sub-disciplines within social and economic contexts.

Learning outcomes:

As a result of attending this course, you will be able to:.

- Understand where your research sits in relation to broader social and economic contexts.

- Understand the need to position you research correctly to ensure maximum returns, both in terms of output and research income.

- Plan the future direction of your research.

- Understand how to link to colleagues in other disciplines and involve them in your research.
