A 3-4 hour session aimed at researchers that have mastered the basics of NVivo and have some experience of using it to support their own research.

This session will encourage further exploration and analysis of data using a range of useful features provided by the application.


This workshop is intended to provide participants with additional skills that will help with data organisation and analysis.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own data to the session, with a view to advancing their own research progress with facilitator support on hand.


Learning outcomes:


As a result of attending this course, you will be able to:.

- use some additional features of NVivo to support data management and analysis, including (depending on group needs) - Framework Analysis - autocoding - classifications - running queries - conducting literature reviews - use your learning outcomes from previous introductory NVivo training and put them into practice using your own data - import and organise your own data - establish a coding framework for your own data - code your own data - use NVivo's basic analytical functions .

This course is recommended for Research members of staff.



This session is delivered by Andrew Edwards-Jones, a researcher with many years? experience of working with NVivo.
