About this course:

This workshop will introduce you to Technology Enhanced Learning at the University of Exeter.

The session will be a mix of theory, discussion and demonstrations and is designed to encourage you to think about how you can start to initiate a blended approach to your own curriculum delivery.

It will be delivered in a flipped style and will introduce participants to how they can use flipped learning in their own teaching.

You will have the chance to experience and explore to a number of technologies and share examples of how they could be used in practice.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own devices.

Learning outcomes:

As a result of attending this course, you will:.

- Identify how technologies can be used to encourage student engagement and active learning.

- Choose technologies that can support the acquisition of knowledge, discussion, collaboration and assessment.

Before the course:

Participants will be contacted a week in advance of the workshop with recommended preparation.

The workshop preparatory and in-session materials and resources will be available on ELE (Exeter's virtual learning environment).

Who should attend this course:

New and existing staff who teach or support learning.
