Effective middle manager programme
The effective middle manager programme consists of six modules and a wide range of options (delivered twice a year) divided into 2 parts. Both parts should be completed over 24 months. Optional modules should also be completed within the 24 months.
Part 1
- Solving problems and making decisions (1 day workshop with reading)
- Developing yourself and others (1 half-day workshop with 1-1 support and reading)
- Understanding performance management (1 day workshop with reading)
- Coaching conversations for the workplace (2 x half-day workshops plus reading)
- 1:1 Tutorials
By undertaking Part 1 learning you can register for the ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership and Management [please note that a fee is payable for registration for the qualification]. Each module is assessed (except for the Coaching Conversations module) and the Award is given for successful completion of all three assessments. The assessments must be completed within 12 months.

By undertaking both Part 1 and 2 learning you can register for the ILM Level 3 Certificate in Leadership and Management [please note that a fee is payable for registration for the qualification]. Each module is assessed and the Award is given for successful completion of all six assessments. The assessments must be completed within 24 months.
