Career development for technical specialist staff

Details of internal and external development opportunities are available from our web pages for technical specialist staff.

Our Leadership and Management development framework

We offer a range of development opportunities organised into the nationally recognised Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) qualifications framework. The ILM use the UK-wide Qualifications and Credit Framework to assign Levels to learning and development opportunities.

We have mapped these Levels onto our own job grades allowing managers to instantly see the most appropriate learning and development for their job as it is now and also what might be needed to progress to more demanding roles.

We also offer ILM qualifications for staff who are seeking formal recognition of their learning and development.
