Cancellation Policy
The majority of learning and development courses are funded centrally, so there is no charge to individuals attending from Colleges or Professional Services. However, should circumstances mean that staff need to cancel attendance at a specific learning event, the following charges will apply:
| Notice Given | Cancellation Charge |
|---|---|
| More than 4 weeks | No charge |
| 2 - 4 weeks | 25% of listed cost |
| Less than 2 weeks | Full cost |
The full event cost is given on the course description on the Learning & Development website and can be seen on the Personal Learning Account on Midland Trent when a place is booked.
There will be no charge if a substitute attends instead.
These cancellation fees are applicable to anyone attending courses listed on the Learning and Development website.
Charges will be made by journal to each College/Professional Service on a monthly basis in the month following the course date.
This policy is effective from 1st August 2009.
