The University is signed up to the National Agreement "The Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers" alongside other funders and employers. Vitae is a national organisation championing the personal, professional and career development of researchers. Their vision is for the UK to be world class in supporting the personal, professional and career development of researchers. They have a number of resources and publications to support researchers who are undertaking their first contract through to Principal Investigators.
