If you're not already registered, click on the 'not a member, join us here' button and click on 'technicians' at the bottom of the page - the University of Exeter is already a member institution so your individual membership is free of charge.
Institute of Science and Technology (IST)
The IST is the professional body for specialist, technical and managerial staff.
Your course fee should be funded by your College/Professional Service, using your local procedure. The Tuition Refund Scheme may be appropriate.

Occupational Hygiene Training Association (OHTA)
Free training materials for approved modules, including COSHH, are available from the OHTA.
The learning portal also provides links to participating International Occupational Hygiene Association (IOHA) member organisations and to approved course providers.
Association of Technical Staff in Psychology
The Association of Technical Staff in Psychology exists primarily to share knowledge between technicians working in Psychology and Psychology related departments in academic institutions.
