Human Resources
Human Resources (HR) is one of the University’s Professional Services teams at the University. We provide a full range of advisory and support services to staff within the Colleges and Professional Services including staffing planning; restructuring; individual employment matters; maternity/paternity; performance; recruitment and onboarding of new staff. Learning and development

Co-ordination of learning and development support and activities for staff, and provision of advice to managers.
Employment policy and reward

Development and administration of University’s employment and reward policy and practice; management of the University’s Trent HR system.
Payroll and pensions offices

Including day to day administration and provision of advice to employees on payroll and pensions matters.
