Project aims and objectives

The aim of this review it to make recommendations for the provision of desktop support across the University which realise the benefits of centralisation in a way which is both affordable for Schools and remains able to accommodate the legitimate specific variations required.

Latest news

The Review Leader and Coordinator contacted Panel members and sponsors in October 2009 to inform them that the start had been deferred to February 2010 due to the College reorganisation and the need to establish a common College structure. The Review Team met on 29 January 2010 and agreed to liaise with Change Management Workstream 2, College Professional Services Structure and Central Professional Services Interface, to offer support for the planned audit of existing IT Desktop Support. Both the Review Leader and Chair are members of this group. In March 2010 this work became part of the College Change Management Project.
