Module Selection and Enrolment

Project details

Both the National Student Survey and the recent Module Selection and Registration Process review recommended the provision of an online facility where students are able to select and provisionally enrol on their non-compulsory modules.

Funding has now been approved for this development. The Academic Systems Group received the Project proposal on 5 December 2007 and supported the project.

In order to produce a specification for the development of this facility we needed to establish the current arrangements within each School and the potential for creating both improvements for students and efficiencies for the staff involved in the processes surrounding this activity.

The consultation took place in late December 2007 and January 2008 and the Consultation report on this activity was received by the Academic Systems Group on 15 February 2008. They supported the project and agreed progression to the development of a Project initiation document.
