CRB and other checks

The University of Exeter employs staff who work in various positions of trust in a variety of settings, ranging from research staff with significant contact with children or vulnerable adults, staff working on Summer Schools, and staff who are held responsible for significant financial transactions. These posts are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure from the CRB.

Additionally, the Research Passport system is an initiative developed to simplify the administrative procedures required for issuing Honorary Research Contracts (HRCs) to researchers who have no contractual arrangements with the NHS but who carry out research in NHS organisations which has an impact on patient care.
