Staff and student training
- A training event will be run on the Cornwall Campus (Tremough) for female early career researchers. This will focus on career development, supporting a work/life balance, networking and confidence building.
- A group of researchers from the College of Life and Environmental Sciences (CLES) and Camborne School of Mines (CSM) in Tremough have put together an application for funding from the Researcher Development Team to run a workshop for female early career researchers. This application was successful and this training event will be running soon.

For more information on the training available for staff and students please see Staff Learning and Development or the Student Career Zone.
Mentoring and College networks
The Colleges are currently considering developing a mentoring scheme for staff and students.
Colleges are also discussing the possibility of starting college networks. The aim of these networks would be to support the career development of researchers, and to create a social space for networking across the college and between disciplines.
If you have any ideas or suggestions in relation to mentoring or College networks, please email Harriet Jones.
