Age Equality Group
The Age Equality Group is a reasonably new group set up at the start of the 2011/12 academic year. It meets termly to explore and highlight issues around any discrimination that staff and students may experience as a result of their age. The Group is chaired by Professor Mark Overton, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Equality & Diversity), and is open to all staff, students, and Students’ Guild representatives interested in issues around age.
We aim to send out a message that is welcoming and inclusive of everyone.
We welcome involvement from all areas of the University and from all age groups. If you would be interested in joining the Age Equality Group please contact the E&D Team by email or on 01392 72 2037.
