About this course:

Funding for International Development research is becoming much more commonplace in the research funding landscape.

This workshop will provide an overview of the international development funding landscape including strategic priorities of key funding schemes such as Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) and Newton Funding, share information on what makes a good international development application and discuss key criteria for successful project implementation and delivery.

Learning outcomes:

As a result of attending this course, you will be able to: - 1 Understand strategic priorities of the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) and other key international development funding schemes.

- 2 Understand what a successful GCRF application looks like.

- 3 Understand the principles of equitable partnerships, ODA compliance and gender equality compliance.

- 4 Know where to find further information on GCRF and other funding schemes for international collaboration.

Who should attend this course:

This course is open to Post Doctoral Researchers with 3 or more years experience, onwards up to Professors with an interest in Global Challenges research.
