About this course: This webinar is a follow-on from the earlier, introductory `The Why, Who, What, and How of Public Engagement with Research (PER)' webinar. This webinar will cover how to conduct meaningful PER through PER best practice and how to evaluate your public engagement activities. Examples will be provided to make the learning more tangible and there will be opportunity for questions and discussion.
Learning outcomes: As a result of attending this course, you will be able to:. - Articulate PER best practice. - Understand how you might incorporate public engagement into your research process. - Define evaluation. - Better understand methods for evaluating public engagement.
Who should attend this course: Early Career Researchers, Academics and Research Technicians. Presenter: Dreolin Fleischer, PhD - Engaged Research Manager, Exeter Innovation (Formerly IIB). As Engaged Research Manager, Dreolin is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for all aspects of Public Engagement with Research (PER) across the University. Dreolin brings to this role more than 20 years of experience in programme evaluation and applied research working within the areas of education, health, arts and culture, and policing.
