In accordance with the University's Managing Absence Code of Practice, the Occupational Health Service is notified of any sickness absence over one month (or earlier if appropriate).
If a member of staff requires any advice or support in connection with their sickness absence, they can contact Occupational Health directly for more information, please see here.
If it would be helpful to discuss a return to work following a period of sickness absence, talk to your manager who can arrange a management referral to Occupational Health. This may be helpful to you and your manager, particularly if any adaptations are required to enable your return to work to be successful and safe.
