It provides consultancy services to clients embracing the skills, knowledge, technology and support resources of both academics and technical staff of the University. It provides solutions to business problems to organisations outside of the University and offers a valuable link for industry to benefit from the knowledge held within the University.
Exeter Enterprises Limited not only embraces such areas as engineering, science and technology transfer but also market analysis, business surveys, and biotechnology and specialist services. The Company’s support to the University embraces all aspects of the consultancy process from idea to completed project.
The Company also has two subsidiaries. UEC Enterprises Limited is based at the University’s Cornwall Campus and supports the commercialisation of the work of the University where funding was originally provided by Objective One, and also provides a Cornwall business mentoring facility funded by the Gatsby Charitable Foundation. Peninsula Innovations Limited operates the Innovation Centre at Exeter and facilitates support services to its knowledge based tenants.
