Parking permit eligibility
Car Sharing
As part of the suite of car sharing permits staff can now apply for a car share permit which will cost £55 (payable by cheque or cash). All staff and students as well as other users currently entitled to a Standard Parking Permit, who are registered users of the University private car sharing group (through carsharedevon.com with a confirmed car share team match), may apply for this permit. Permits will be available for issue from 1 November 2012, please complete the Car Sharing Permit Application Form and return to Streatham Farm.
Staff
Members of staff are entitled to apply for a three year Parking Permit if they pay through the salary exchange scheme. Other annual permits are still valid for one year. Authority to Park badges are now also valid for a three year period. Staff on permanent contracts should apply on line. Please see full details on the Apply for a permit page. Postgraduates
Taught postgraduates
Postgraduate students on taught programmes who undertake some teaching functions are regarded as students for parking permit/badge purposes.
Research postgraduates
Research postgraduate students are entitled to a staff parking permit/badge, please contact Campus Services Helpdesk on extension 4552 (prefix 01392 72 if from an external telephone line) for further details.
Staff employed by other organisations
If you are non-University staff who work on the campuses please complete the Non University Staff Application Form for a one year permit.

Visitor’s car parking permit
Car parking permits for visitors to the Streatham and St Luke’s campuses can be ordered by contacting campushelp@exeter.ac.uk. The cost for a visitor’s car parking permit is £3.00 per day. Please ensure you have a cost centre code or purchase order to hand and allow two working days for the processing and delivery of the permit.

Pay and display car parking is permitted on the Streatham Campus. There is very limited pay and display parking at St Luke’s and on the Cornwall Campus. Payment machines can be found at or close to each parking area.
A part of parking income will be used to support the University’s Green Travel Plan.
