Responsibilities
As a member of staff you are responsible for ensuring that you take steps to ensure your own wellbeing and that of your colleagues. You can do this by
- taking reasonable care of your own wellbeing and taking advantage of measures offered by the University to support and promote this
- seeking to avoid harming the wellbeing of your colleagues and acting in accordance with the University’s Protection of Dignity at Work and Study Policy
- being proactive in identifying personal wellbeing problems (arising from both inside or outside work), alerting your line-manager or other support agencies, where appropriate.
taking advantage of opportunities for training and counselling when recommended.
