Wellbeing@Work and Serendipity

Wellbeing@Work and Serendipity are services that offer short term, solution focused counselling.  They are confidential and available FREE to employees (i.e. paid for by the University) to explore work related issues, or personal issues which impact upon work.  Counsellors comply with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy Code of Ethics and Good Practice and receive regular supervision to ensure best practice.

All counselling information is strictly confidential and no one may have access to your counselling records for information, except you and your counsellor.

A counselling appointment would normally be made available within 2 weeks of contacting the service, but the service can only be accessed via an appointment with the Occupational Health Service, who will assess the suitability of counselling and arrange the referral.
