(1) Action to take if you have a health and safety problem
- discuss the matter with your line manager;
- if necessary, contact your College Safety Officer (CSO), or College Dean / Head of Service if you have no CSO;
- if necessary and if you are a member of a trade union, contact your health and safety representative; and
- you may, at any time, discuss the matter with members of the Health & Safety Office.
(2) Communication of health and safety information
Information on all health and safety issues is communicated to all staff with health and safety duties and responsibilities (egs, College Deans/Heads of Services, CSOs, members of the Safety Committee, etc, see Appendices C and D). You may approach these members of staff for information or make a request directly to the Health & Safety Office.
