6.0 Personal protective equipment
6.1 Where it is required, the University must provide suitable and appropriate personal protective eqipment.
6.2 Where non-disposable protective equipment is provided, the University must ensure that suitable storage for the equipment is available, and that the equipment is correctly maintained.
6.3 It is the duty of radiation workers to co-operate by using the personal protective equipment correctly, reporting any faults and keeping and storing non-disposable equipment in a safe manner.
6.4 The provisions of the Personal Protective Equipment Regulations 1992 apply.
