Changes in market demands, technology and organisational structure can make your staff feel uncertain and insecure.

What can be done to reduce stress

Where changes are anticipated every effort must be made to communicate/consult with all of your staff who will be affected and to discuss and resolve issues together.

The ideal situation

Both you and the University should invite your staff’s opinions before implementing organisation change and keep them informed of progress during the change. They are given time to adjust to the changes.
