Astronomy Group

We would like to know if there is anyone who would be interested in creating an Astronomy club.  The club would be open to anyone who has an interest in astronomy or would like to learn more about the night sky or space in general.  Beginning with some star gazing (possibly somewhere on campus where there is less light pollution) which could be preceded by a trip to a local pub while waiting for it to get dark where the conversation would be the cosmos whilst drinking Doom Bar. 

We are also investigating the possibility of arranging tours and talks on current research in the field of Astrophysics.  If you are interested in joining, or would like to find out more please contact James Albins.
