Exeter Staff Festival 2017

The aim of your Staff Festival 2017 is to celebrate everything Wellbeing at the University of Exeter.  The day is an opportunity to discover the vast array of wellbeing expertise, knowledge, activities and support that we currently provide at the University.  We also welcome your feedback on the day, our current wellbeing programme and feedback to take a new wellbeing strategy forward.

Staff Life Plus Membership

At the Festival Staff Life Plus taster sessions are being run free of charge so you have the opportunity to trail as many as you like before commiting to Staff Life Plus membership. Membership is charged at £1 per week. Benefits include:

Plan Your Day

Employees are encouraged to take time out to enjoy the day. All staff are urged to register for the events to plan their day. Each link will take you to more information and provide links to register for each activity. Follow the Events Timetable link for an overview of events, but make sure you check all the other pages not to miss out on any of the other offerings. We will be updating and including information from now until the festival so keep checking back for updates!

Events Timetable


To ensure all staff can participate in as many activities as they can there will be the usual transport between campuses from 0745- 1030. Two minibuses will then run on a loop from 1045 until 1600 between the campuses every 15 mins.

VC Opening

The VC will be opening the festival on Streatham Campus in the forum at 1100 and on St Luke's Campus on The Quad at 1145.

Taylor-Samuel will be creating the atmosphere playing live music sets throughout the day.

Food and Beverages

  • The farmer's market will be available on the Great Hall Piazza including: Oasis, Surf n Turf, Ceylon Curry, Feniton foods, Pollynostimos, Goierri foods, Veggie deli, Creperie, Simushi and flapjackery.
  • Fresh Ideas will have many offerings on diaplay promoting what they do, giving away samples and running competitions on the South Piazza.
  • Grumpy Mule coffe cart will be giving away free coffee and launching their new coffee in Peter Chalk when it re-opens at the beginning of September.
  • Fairtrade freebies around the festival area.
