Talking to terrorists
1500-1600 Monday, 29 October and 1000-1100hrs, Tuesday 30 October
Amory B316
This is an exciting opportunity for Politics and Arab and Islamic Studies students who are interested in contemporary approaches to world security.
Small interactive group sessions on terrorism issues will be led by General (Retd) Professor Sir Paul Newton, Director of the Strategy and Security Institute. These will provide opportunities for academic and personal development and will promote a range of intellectual, interactive and transferrable skills.
There are limited places available, so anyone interested should explain in no more than 100 words why they would like to attend. There are spaces for up to 30 students on each of the sessions, so please reply promptly to reserve your place and specify the date you would prefer to attend.
Email your application to Sharon Bellem by 5pm on Monday 22 October. Participating students will be contacted by Thursday 25 October with further details about the event.
