The Strategy and Security Institute (SSI) unites high profile academics from across the University of Exeter, taking in the disciplines of Politics, Arab and Islamic Studies, International Relations, Business and Leadership, and beyond. The Institute also incorporates a number of visiting experts, academics and practitioners from a number of other institutions and organisations.
As well as all the experience of academics at Exeter, the SSI has harnessed a wealth of experience through its Advisory Board and its network of Honorary Professors and Fellows that are able to bring realistic practical global experience from across the spectrum of politics, the military, the diplomatic corps, the intelligence services and from government. This network, coupled with our strong links to RUSI, gives the SSI extraordinary breadth and depth.
