Resources to help you

This page contains some resources to help you get started on your ePDP.

  • PDP Personal and Key Skills Self Assessment. A downloadable resource outlining the kinds of skills you're expected to develop at university level. How would you rate yourself on these skills? How might you evidence them? Again, good preparation for starting your ePDP.
  • Skills Frameworks. These can help you to start thinking about the skillsets you are expected to be developing throughout your time at university.
  • Writing action plans. Writing an effective action plan is a skill in itself. Use this guide to help you make it SMART (Specific - Measurable - Achievable - Realistic - Timely)
  • Writing personal statements. A personal statement is often key to the success of a job application, so it's a good idea to practise writing them whilst at university. Use the list of questions to help you get started.
  • Student User Guide to ePDP. We suggest you print this out when you first start using the system and work through the instructions, bearing in mind any particular requests relayed to you by your College Office or your personal tutor.
