Career Zone blog

Our Career Zone blog is one of the most widely read university careers service blogs in the UK. It provides a great opportunity for you to showcase your organisation to our students, graduates, and wider staff network.

You’re welcome to submit content on anything from the recruitment process, to providing an insight into your industry or career pathway.

You can view the blog here.

  • An insight into your career path and organisation
  • Application form/CV/interview advice
  • Understanding commercial awareness
  • Psychometric tests and assessment centres
  • Why work experience counts
  • Effective networking
  • These are just a few suggestions – we’re always open to new ideas.

We recommend your article is a minimum of 600 words in length, and that you provide a photo to illustrate the post.

All content should be tailored specifically to our students.

We will ensure to add at least one link from the blog to your organisation.

Due to the weekly term-time only nature of the blog, during busy periods we may limit blog contributions to organisations with Exeter alumni only.

We welcome contributions throughout the year, however we may delay publication to ensure that the content appears at the most appropriate time (for example, applications may be focused in the Autumn Term). We’ll advise you if this is the case.

There are no costs attached to contributing to our blog, which aids the employability of our students. However, we request that such activity is not used as a direct recruitment tool.
