Student Loan Applications

Have you completed your Student Finance Application?

Due to the number of applications received by Student Finance you may have faced delays with your tuition fee loan application. If you have had to provide evidence to the University of your application then your loan may still be delayed.

Please ensure you have signed and returned the loan declaration to Student Finance. Without this, payments for your tuition fees will not be released by the Student Loans Company.

The University will attempt to contact you to request further information if confirmation has not been received. If your application remains unconfirmed then you may be liable to pay tuition fees.

Bank Detail Records

To help the Student Funding team process payments efficiently, and to avoid any delays in payments to you, please could you ensure that your bank account details are correct on our records. To do this, please check the Student Portal iExeter and update your bank details if necessary.

Student Finance - Returning your Declaration Form (Online Declaration)

If you applied for your funding online and your application has been approved, you will have been sent a Student Finance Entitlement letter with a Declaration Form attached.

You need to sign and return this declaration form to Student Finance in Darlington and until you do so, the University will not receive payment of your Tuition Fee Loan and this may also delay the payment of any maintenance you are entitled to.

Tuition and Accommodation Fees

Tuition fees and Accommodation fees for term 2 were due for payment on the 16th January 2017. Further details regarding the methods of payment available to you are provided via the University’s ‘How to Pay’ webpage.

Penalties have now been applied to overdue invoices.

The University would urge you to check your finance statement to make sure you do not have an outstanding invoice. To do this please log into your iExeter account and select the Student Record tab, then finance tab, then view online statement. Alternatively see Student Finance, select 'online statement' then login.
