Making an Application
1. If you have not already completed, your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), you will need to submit one via FAFSA on the web at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Your application will not be processed until you have advised us that you have completed your FAFSA as foreign school are not advised when this has been done. The University will use the information from your FAFSA to determine how much student aid you will receive.
2. You will also need to visit www.studentloans.gov to complete your Master Promissory Note (MPN), if you are also taking a Plus Direct Loan, you will need to complete 2 MPN one for each loan. To access an MPN online your will be required to use your Department of Education issued PIN. If you do not have a PIN you may request one from the office PIN site www.pin.ed.gov/PINWebApp/pinindex.jsp . Once again please notify us when you have completed this step as we are not advised.
3. Please complete the Direct Loan Student Information 2012_13 .and return it to the Student Funding Team by emailing sid@exeter.ac.uk.
