Students’ Guild/FXU
The Students’ Guild in Exeter promotes clubs and societies with a wide range of arts activities, as well as a complete range of student media, X-Media, our campus network that includes radio, TV and a fortnightly paper.

At the Cornwall Campus, the Students’ Union (FXU) is run jointly between the University of Exeter and Falmouth University, with whom we share the campus.
At all our campuses, the student-run Community Action leads projects in the local community and is one of the most active groups for student volunteering in the UK.
The University of Exeter is well known for a great social life and the bars are always busy - particularly Friday and Saturday nights in the Lemmy in Exeter and the Stannary at the Cornwall Campus. At the end of the year, the annual Summer Ball in Exeter attracts big name acts and can’t be missed. The annual RAG Safer Sex Ball is the biggest World Aids Day event outside London and sells out within four hours. In Cornwall, the Stannary plays host to the Students’ Union Freshers’ Ball, Snow Ball, Valentine’s Ball and Graduation Ball.
