I have been able to add both French and Chinese to my History degree and it has to be the best decision I have made since starting at Exeter. Studying both of these languages has allowed me to put my degree into a much more international perspective by bringing in other disciplines. Studying with the FLC gave me the opportunity to study abroad in France and has opened up so many doors both academically and for my future career prospects. The different style in teaching to History classes has made my degree more engaging, varied, and has helped me so much with my own confidence. I feel much more ready to approach my next step after university!
