There are many popular online self-help resources which can help you to learn more about what you are going through and how to manage difficult feelings in the privacy of your own home and at your own pace. All of the below resources are free and safe to use.

Togetherall provides safe, anonymous online support 24/7. You can share your experiences anonymously with your peers at any time of the day or night, and find support from those experiencing similar difficulties. Trained healthcare professionals are online at all times, and a range of wellbeing courses and tools are available to help you self-manage their wellbeing. 

SilverCloud offers secure, immediate access to online Cognitive Behavioural Therapy programmes, tailored to your specific needs. The programme has shown high improvement rates for depression, anxiety and stress and also has a programme on body image. CBT helps you identify and change those thought and behavioural patterns that have a negative influence on how you are feeling, helping you to make changes for the better.

ACT FOR LIFE is an audio programme based on the concepts of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy; a recent mindfulness based therapy shown to be effective with a diverse range of problems. The goal of this therapy is to help you create a rich and meaningful life in which you are fully present and engaged, guided by your deepest values.

Every student, regardless of whether they have requested specific wellbeing support, is provided with their own My Wellbeing Toolkit which holds information and techniques to help them think about skills which could support them to stay healthy and resilient at university.

Your Toolkit is held on the iExeter site/app along with your academic timetable, etc. 

CCI provides a number of modules which you can work through to improve mental wellbeing. There are a vast number of topics covered, including procrastination, self-esteem, anger and assertiveness.

LLTTF is an online programme based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) covering areas such as low mood and stress. LLTTF supports you to work out why you are feeling the way you are and how to tackle problems and build confidence. You can access the support on Kindle and Apple.

NTW Self-Help provides a range of self-help booklets to help you work through any mental health difficulties you may be experiencing. Booklets are available to download in large print and audio format.
